Google announced the new look for AdWords price extensions

When Google first launched the price extensions in July 2016, they appeared in list form like sitelinks. On Monday Google revealed on Twitter that the price extensions will appear as swipeable cards from now on.

You can choose the type of price extension like brands, events, products, services and a lot more. Price extensions allow you to include a header, description, price and final URL which direct link to the item being advertised.


Google AdWords launched affiliate location extensions for the US

Due to the constant increase of search on Google to find what you are looking for nearby, Adwords quietly launched the affiliate location extensions, at first only in the US. These extensions allow advertisers to add nearby national chains to their ads, like Walmart, that stock their products.

Facebook is rolling out its own free analytics tool for messenger bots

This analytics tool will help Messenger bot makers to understand how people are interacting with their bots and connect this data with people’s Facebook profiles.
Developers and publishers, will be able to use the new Facebook Analytics for Apps to follow how many people stopped using their bots and why they don’t want to receive any messages anymore. Besides this bot makers will be able to pick which events they want the analytics tool to track.

Google and Facebook trying to face the problem with fake news

Google and Facebook changed their ad policies and terms to that effect that sites which are displaying fake news will be excluded from using ads from the networks.

Bing expands their Bing Partner Program

Bing is planning to expand the Bing Partner Program for agencies and technology partners. Unfortunately the program will be only available for those that meet a certain spend and certification criteria.
At the moment the program is only available in the US but Bing is starting to roll it out to more countries and Bing Ads’ European markets are following at the beginning of next year. We can’t wait for it!
